Dr. Ankit Maheshwari is the founder of Texas Pain Intervention Clinic in McKinney, Texas, and is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Pain Medicine. Dr. Maheshwari received his training in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Medicine at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic. He also served as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Maheshwari has authored book chapters on diagnosing and treating pain and has lectured extensively on the management of chronic pain. He has created pain management pathways for large hospital systems, including the Veterans Health Administration and University Hospitals. His impressive clinical expertise includes a broad spectrum of interventional pain treatments, including spine, joint, and tendon injections, minimally invasive implants for pain, and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Maheshwari is in the unique position of offering all evidence-based interventional pain treatments under one roof. He believes in a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach and will include other disciplines in patient care to achieve the best possible outcome.
Dr. Maheshwari is continuously exploring innovative treatment solutions for his patients that balance the traditional protocols with the latest therapies that embrace the body’s own healing abilities supplemented by evidence-based regenerative pain procedures. Dr. Maheshwari believes that each patient is unique and requires a detailed analysis based on a physical exam, medical diagnostics, mobility status, and lifestyle factors.

Serving the community and our veterans has always been a top priority for Dr. Maheshwari. In Cleveland, Dr. Maheshwari served at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center to help veterans with spinal cord injuries, nerve pain, and opioid misuse. Dr. Maheshwari has a strong reputation for compassion, medical excellence, and finding pain relief for complex patient cases.
In his spare time, Dr. Maheshwari enjoys travel, music, culture, and outdoor activities with his sons and wife.
