Meet Dr. Mohammad Tariq
Dr. Mohammad Tariq is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pain management physician and anesthesiologist by the American Board of Pain Management and the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Tariq is currently practicing pain management, pain medicine, and interventional pain medicine at Comprehensive Pain Management Centers with offices in Lewisville, McKinney, and Frisco, TX. He is the founder and primary practitioner at Preston Surgery Center.

Dr. Tariq utilizes a comprehensive approach to managing pain for his patients through medication management, physical therapy, behavioral counseling, chiropractic, acupuncture, and interventional pain procedures. He is a leading pain specialist who treats back pain, foot pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis, knee pain, joint pain, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, and more.
Education
Dr. Tariq completed his internship in internal medicine at St. Francis Hospital in New Jersey in 1992. After his internship, Dr. Tariq trained in anesthesiology and pain management at Texas Tech University in El Paso, TX, from 1992 – 1995. In 1996, he finished his fellowship training at Texas Tech University’s Pain Center in Lubbock, TX.
Personal
During his fellowship at Texas Tech University Pain Center, Dr. Tariq was honored to be involved with their renowned training program under Dr. Gabor Racz, Sr., who is one of the founding fathers of the pain management specialty.
